“Catherine was recommended to me by a friend (Sally Miles) who also had a beautiful gown made by Catherine.  I was quite frustrated by the lack of service and uncaring attitude of some of Sydney’s most reputable designers and Sally told me how great Catherine was.  I was a guest at Sally’s wedding and remembered her gown as ‘simply stunning’.  I asked Catherine if she would make me a gown 2 months out from my wedding day.  Many other designers told me I had to give them 5 months to make a dress.  She was unbelievable and after talking through some ideas with her, she had me in a calico within a week for a fitting.  After Catherine and her team went to work to make the most beautiful gown I could have ever imagined.

Nothing was ever too much trouble for her and she dealt with me constantly changing my mind and doubting my decisions in a very understanding manner.  Catherine never made me feel like it was a ‘task’ for her but rather something she enjoyed doing for her clients.

My wedding dress was beautiful and it’s such a shame you only wear it for one day! The lace is so gorgeous around the bottom of the dress and we have talked about making a christening gown from it in the future.  I continue to have many lovely comments from family and friends about my wedding gown.  I think most of our guests expected me to wear something a little less traditional but Catherine combined traditional with simple elegance perfectly!
