Catherine has a wealth of knowledge accumulated for more than 30 years of hands on design experience designing incredible garments for celebrities, events, weddings & other formal occasions.

Custom couture wedding dress design Catherine Colubriale designs and creates a personalised look that is specific to each individual client’s needs. It is made from scratch just for you.
The Couture House Collection is available in our Boutique. We have two Collections The Bridal Couture and Evening Couture. Once you choose a gown from our House Collection, the gowns are made to fit your specific body measurements and shape.
The Ready to Wear Evening Collection is available in House and can be purchased off the rack in sizes 6-16
Catherine Colubriale Couture House Collection prices will vary depending on how much work is required to make the dress suit your requirements. We provide a personal consultation to work out what will suit you best.
Catherine Colubriale Couture Custom Gowns are individually quoted because these are individually crafted pieces where you can choose every single element & pricing will vary based on the fabrics & other pieces used.
We accept cash, direct deposit or credit card.
We do all the fabric sourcing for you. We choose the right fabric for the design and your body shape.
This might happen, but it is very rare that clients change their mind on the design they have chosen. We go through a process with you which helps you envision the design of your gown. This gives you confidence with your chosen couture gown. Remember this is a process shared with you every step of the way.
Once the gown is in the production and making stage and you decide to change any major part of the gown, the original quote will be amended to reflect these changes.
We are with you on this journey all the way. Every bride wants to look her best. If for any reason your weight or body shape changes we can assist you with an appropriate solution. We would work out what has changed & how to best adapt the design to suit.
We have experienced this before so we know it is very possible. From our experience and we always have a solution to guide you with the best outcome.
Creativity can be one of the hardest things to deal with but Catherine takes you through the process step by step so you have a good feeling of what is going to be created for you.
This begins with fabric samples and of course Catherine’s hand drawn sketches which are used to then constructing your pattern and toile based on your measurements

We aim to have your dress finished two weeks before your event date.
The only time this doesn’t happen is because our brides find out they are pregnant, have lost weight and we need to readjust the dress.
Our materials are sourced from local and international suppliers. We use high quality fabrics from France, Italy, America, Canada, Japan and India to name a few. We can materials such as silk duchess, silk satin, silk dupion, French lace, soft tulle to name a few.
We design create and make the gowns in our studio in Paddington, Sydney, Australia. All our bridal, wedding and evening gowns are 100% Australian made.
Depending on the complexity of the design or what our workloads are like it could take between 3 to 12 months to complete your dress. We can let you know during our consultation sessions.
