Where did the Paddington boutique go?
Our gowns were once shown from a boutique on Oxford Street, Paddington. The house is now based in Dulwich Hill, at 422 New Canterbury Road. Everything happens there under one roof: the consultations, the design, the cutting and sewing, and every fitting.

What has stayed the same?
- The couturier. Catherine Colubriale has been designing in Sydney for more than 30 years. She started at five with her mother’s dressmaking tools and opened her first atelier in Kingsgrove at twenty-one.
- The way gowns are made. A hand-drawn sketch, fabric chosen together, a toile cut to your measurements, three to five fittings and a gown finished two weeks before your wedding.
- The fabrics. Silk duchess satin, silk dupion, silk organza and georgette, French and Italian laces, soft tulle and Mikado, sourced from around the world.
- The experience. A private appointment with Catherine, with champagne or coffee. The house is rated 5.0 on Google from more than 100 reviews.

What does the Dulwich Hill atelier offer?
Bespoke wedding dresses
Designed with Catherine from a blank page and made for you alone. Bridal gowns start from $3,500 and take six to twelve months. Lia’s fairytale gown used 30 metres of duchess silk satin, and Jamie’s Italian lace gown carried a six-metre detachable overskirt in double silk organza. See custom made wedding dresses in Sydney.
The Bridal Couture Collection
The four white New York looks (Ivory lace corset, Blush tulle, Sculpted ivory and Organza cascade) are made to order to your measurements in four to six weeks, and quoted at your consultation. Explore the Bridal Couture Collection.
Evening and the wedding party
The Evening Couture Collection, plus mother of the bride gowns, bridesmaids, flower girls and custom veils. Taharna’s whole bridal party, from her mother to five flower girls, was designed together.

How do I visit?
Appointments are private and by booking only, Tuesday to Friday 10am to 5pm and Saturday 10am to 3pm. A consultation is $150, credited in full to your gown, and can be moved free of charge with 48 hours’ notice.
